Title: Investment Banking Vice President - Technology & Healthcare M&A

We are partnering with a premier Middle Market Investment Bank recognized for its strong track record in M&A advisory across key sectors. As part of their strategic expansion, the firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Vice President to join their dynamic Technology and Healthcare M&A team, with opportunities available in either Tampa, FL or Nashville, TN. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-performing, entrepreneurial environment where you will be involved in the full lifecycle of deal execution and have direct exposure to clients and senior leadership.

Position Summary:
As an Investment Banking Vice President, you will be instrumental in managing and executing complex M&A transactions, primarily on the sell-side. You will work closely with Managing Directors and other senior professionals to lead deal teams, mentor junior staff, and maintain strong client relationships. This role offers significant responsibility and autonomy, ideal for candidates looking to deepen their expertise in the Technology and Healthcare sectors while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of client presentations, pitch books, and transaction materials throughout the deal process.
  • Oversee and coordinate due diligence efforts, working with internal teams and external advisors to ensure thorough analysis and documentation.
  • Manage the execution of M&A transactions from start to finish, including financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company-specific research to support transaction rationale and identify potential opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact throughout engagements.
  • Mentor and develop junior bankers, providing guidance on technical skills, project management, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on Healthcare or Technology M&A.
  • Proven track record of closed M&A transactions, particularly sell-side engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a lean team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset.
