Hedge Fund Financing Originator
A leading financial institution with a robust fund financing business are expanding their Hedge Fund Financing business and are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Hedge Fund Financing Originator.
Role Overview: The Hedge Fund Financing Originator will be responsible for originating and structuring financing solutions for fund of funds, private equity, and infrastructure funds. This role involves managing and growing a portfolio of clients and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of financing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with clients, including Private Equity Companies, Infrastructure Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Family Offices, Private Banks, and Fund of Funds.
- Originate and structure financing solutions, including: NAV financing, asset-based lending (ABL), and SLO warehouses.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, focusing on single fund financing and limited partner stakes (LPS) financing.
- Work on continuation vehicle (CV) financing, providing funding for flagship companies that clients wish to retain.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of financing transactions.
- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities within the hedge fund financing space.
- Contribute to a 15-20 million euro business.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hedge fund financing, fund financing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of NAV financing, ABL, SLO warehouses, and APRs.
- Excellent relationship management and business development skills.
- Ability to structure complex financing solutions and manage niche market segments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
