Selby Jennings is working with a global infrastructure manager focused on transportation and logistics assets. The firm is a 20-year-old global infrastructure platform with approximately 100 employees across London, Europe and Asia. They are seeking a senior capital raising professional to lead a $100 million fundraise for a Global Transportation Fund. This role offers the chance to build the fundraising strategy, pitch to investors, and establish a team behind you once the raise gains traction.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the global fundraising strategy for a flagship investment platform.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive capital raising plan targeting institutional investors.
  • Build and leverage relationships with pensions, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, family offices, and other investor types.
  • Actively engage with key investors throughout the fundraising cycle, including leading pitches and closings.
  • Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing international marketing team to support and scale global fundraising efforts.
  • Utilise market intelligence to refine investor targeting and enhance strategic positioning.

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree-qualified with extensive experience in institutional capital raising.
  • Proven track record of leading successful fund raises across Infrastructure.
  • Established relationships with global investors.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and scaling marketing teams.
  • Ability to operate as a player/coach, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
