Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a well‑established alternative investment firm specializing in early‑stage, high‑growth opportunities is expanding its finance team. Operating across multiple regions in the U.S. and abroad, the firm manages a diversified portfolio of private funds with a long track record of strong performance. They are seeking a fund accountant that will be responsible for managing financial close processes, capital activity, investor reporting, fee and performance calculations, cash planning, and ongoing compliance across both fund entities and management companies.
Fund Accountant Requirements
- Supports fund and co‑investment vehicles as well as management companies across accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions.
- Manages quarterly and annual close processes and prepares investor reporting packages.
- Executes capital calls and distributions.
- Calculates management fees, performance metrics, and cash requirements.
- Contributes to tax, audit, and regulatory deliverables.
- Oversees monthly close activities for management companies.
Fund Accountant Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 1-3+ years of experience including fund accounting, fund administration, or fund operations, with a focus on alternative investment funds and private equity, preferably for venture capital Proficiency with Quickbooks preferred
