Fixed Income Financing Sales
Overview
A leading international investment bank is seeking an experienced Financing Sales professional to join its Paris-based team. The role will focus on the distribution and origination of flow financing solutions across a broad range of institutional investors, with particular emphasis on asset managers, pension funds and insurance companies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding client relationships, originating financing opportunities, and delivering a range of balance sheet and market financing solutions. There is also potential for coverage responsibilities across Sovereigns, Supranationals & Agencies (SSA) clients and selected hedge funds.

Key Responsibilities
- Originate and execute financing transactions with institutional clients across Europe, with a primary focus on French and broader continental European investors.
- Market and distribute a range of flow financing products including:
- Repurchase Agreements (Repo)
- Total Return Swaps (TRS)
- Securities Lending
- Collateralised Financing Solutions
- Balance Sheet Optimisation Trades
- Liquidity and Funding Solutions
- Develop and strengthen relationships with:
- Asset Managers
- Pension Funds
- Insurance Companies
- Sovereign, Supranational and Agency (SSA) Accounts
- Hedge Funds (where relevant)
- Identify new client opportunities and increase wallet share across existing relationships.
- Work closely with Trading, Structuring, Prime Services and Capital Markets teams to deliver tailored financing solutions.
- Coordinate with sales teams across Fixed Income, Equities and Multi-Asset Solutions to maximise cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor market developments, funding dynamics, regulatory changes and collateral trends to identify opportunities for clients.
- Drive revenues through both flow business and strategic financing mandates.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- Proven experience within Financing Sales, Securities Finance Sales, Repo Sales, Prime Brokerage Sales, Prime Financing, Equity Financing or Rates Financing.
- Strong understanding of:
- Repo Markets
- Total Return Swaps
- Securities Borrowing & Lending
- Collateral Management
- Balance Sheet Management
- Funding and Liquidity Solutions
- Existing relationships with institutional investors in France and/or across Continental Europe.
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenues and originate business independently.
- Strong commercial and relationship management skills.
