Equity Quantitative Analyst
We are working with a leading global investment bank seeking to hire a Senior Quant Modeler to join their Equity Derivatives & Hybrids business within a highly visible Model Integrity & Control function.
This is a strategic front-office aligned role, ideal for someone who enjoys challenging model assumptions, assessing real-world performance, and influencing how models evolve across the trading lifecycle.
The Role
This position sits within a specialist team focused on model performance, integrity, and production behaviour across the trading platform.
The core mandate is to assess and improve Equity Derivatives and Hybrid pricing models, with a focus on:
- Model assumptions and limitations
- Performance, robustness, and stability
- Automation and scalability
- Testing frameworks and coverage
You will work closely with traders, front office quants, quant developers and model validators, ensuring models operate effectively in live environments and contribute to ongoing platform evolution.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
- A PhD or Master's degree in Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Experience in Equity Derivatives or Hybrid model development/implementation
- Strong exotic derivatives experience in other asset classes will also be considered
- Strong Python programming skills (C++ is a plus)
- The ability to engage senior stakeholders and provide expert input on modelling decisions
