Equity Analyst, Family Office
Our client is an international family office investing across global public and private markets with a thesis-driven approach centred on technology, the energy transition, and next‑generation industrials. They are hiring a high-calibre Equity Research Analyst to help deepen and professionalise their investment process, working in a high-trust, high-ownership environment alongside the lead investor.

What you'll be doing
You'll partner closely with the lead investor to turn themes into actionable work and decision-ready outputs, including:
- Fundamental company research across public equities (and selectively private), including business model analysis, unit economics, and detailed financial modelling
- Building investment theses and conviction files: market sizing, competitive positioning, management assessment, and clearly articulated bull/bear cases with defined risks
- Tracking industry, supply chain, and policy developments, translating complex information into concise, actionable insights
- Producing high-quality investment materials including short-form briefs, IC-style memos, and live tracking models
- Incorporating market context and price dynamics where relevant to support entry points, position sizing and risk management
- Supporting external manager/fund due diligence, including screening, research and evaluation of specialist investment strategies
Coverage focus
The role is thematic, with a strong emphasis on:
- Semiconductors, AI and compute infrastructure
- Autonomous systems and next-generation mobility
- Energy transition (generation, storage, grid, fuels)
- Industrials leveraged to structural capex themes
- Select opportunities arising from global geopolitical and supply chain shifts
What our client is looking for
Core requirements
- 3-7 year's experience in fundamental equity research (buy-side, sell-side, or top-tier research platform)
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skill set
- Demonstrable ability to form independent views and original investment opinions
- Exposure to global markets (US, Europe, Asia preferred)
- Clear and concise communicator, capable of distilling complex ideas into decision-ready outputs
- Naturally curious, proactive, and comfortable working in an unstructured, high-expectation environment
Preferred but not essential
- Experience covering relevant sectors
- Exposure to fund or manager due diligence
- CFA or a strong quantitative / technical academic background
Location & travel
- Dubai, UAE
- Periodic international travel as required for company meetings, research and portfolio work
