A leading global financial institution is seeking a talented and driven EGB (European Government Bonds) Algo Trader to join its dynamic trading team in Paris. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimise algorithmic trading strategies for European Government Bonds.
- Monitor and manage real-time trading performance, ensuring alignment with risk and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with quant researchers, developers, and other traders to enhance execution quality and strategy robustness.
- Analyse market microstructure and identify alpha-generating opportunities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the trading infrastructure and analytics tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in algorithmic trading, preferably within the EGB or fixed income space.
- Strong quantitative background, ideally with a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Solid understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and execution algorithms.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven trading environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
