Responsibilities:
This is a growth hire focused on building out functionality for electronic and algorithmic trading in equities and options. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in trading algorithms, order routing, and market behavior, with a strong understanding of the business side of electronic trading.
- Design and develop low-latency trading strategies and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with trading, quant, and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Enhance order routing logic and trading behavior models.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.
- Support and evolve systems for automated market making and algorithmic trading.
Skills Required:
- Expert-level core Java development in a UNIX/Linux environment (10+ years).
- Proven experience in front-office electronic trading environments.
- Deep understanding of algorithmic trading, order routing, and market microstructure.
- Experience with low-latency messaging and pub/sub middleware technologies.
- Strong knowledge of electronic trading in options, equities, ETFs, or futures.
