Director, Pricing Strategy & Analytics

I am currently working with a leading financial institution looking for a Director of Pricing Strategy & Analytics to lead the development, execution, and optimization of pricing strategies across a portfolio of financial products. This is a high-impact leadership role that involves managing a small team, collaborating with cross-functional partners (including product, finance, and operations), and ensuring pricing models are implemented effectively and monitored for performance.

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in analytics or pricing strategy (preferably within financial services), demonstrated leadership experience, and proficiency in tools such as SQL, SAS, and Power BI. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of pricing strategies to optimize product performance and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, finance, risk, and operations to align pricing with broader business goals.
  • Manage a team of analysts and managers, providing strategic direction and mentorship.
  • Oversee the implementation of pricing models and ensure strategies are validated, monitored, and refined as needed.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and alignment on pricing initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and operationalized.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in pricing strategy, analytics, or related fields.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools such as SQL, SAS, and Power BI.
  • Experience in financial services, lending, or a similarly regulated industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering); advanced degree preferred.
