Data Strategy and Operations Manager
We are looking for a Data Strategy & Operations Manager to lead firm‑wide initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen performance reporting, and support strategic execution across trading, risk, and corporate functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate with leaders and cross‑functional teams to streamline processes, develop reporting tools, and drive key projects that enable firm growth.
What You Will Do
- Oversee high‑impact projects from planning through implementation
- Conduct structured analyses to inform leadership decisions
- Work with cross‑functional partners to optimize workflows, eliminate manual tasks, and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Identify automation opportunities and lead workflow improvement initiatives
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting for performance, operational KPIs, and risk metrics using Excel, SQL, and BI tools
- Create process documentation and build standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring activities
- Support analysis of trading P&L, cost drivers, performance attribution, and operational trends
- Improve data quality by identifying data inconsistencies, gaps, and process failures
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical, deliverable‑driven role
- Proficiency in SQL and comfort working directly with data
- Hands‑on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Experience implementing process automation and AI‑driven solutions
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to operate in ambiguity
- Clear communication skills across both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Ability to handle sensitive executive and HR information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a proprietary trading or market‑making environment
- Background in management consulting
