Data Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with investment teams and engineering groups to understand their data needs and leverage market data to drive investment ideas.
• Partner with internal teams (e.g., data management, legal & compliance, data engineering) to optimize data procurement and usage.
• Manage the qualification process for external developers, including RFQ generation, code acceptance, and ingestion.
• Discover, source, validate, and onboard new datasets to enable unique investment opportunities, working with internal teams and external vendors.
• Create and maintain an internal data library that collates information from both internal and external sources on an ongoing basis.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record.
• Experience in coding/scripting (e.g., Python) and the ability to collaborate with software engineers and analysts.
• Excellent organizational skills, capable of effectively managing multiple stakeholders and tracking the progress of tasks, ensuring on-time delivery and keeping stakeholders informed. Demonstrated initiative in improving operational processes.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to understand and articulate business requirements.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and collaborate across functions.
• Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to independently manage a dynamic workload and meet tight deadlines.
