Role Overview
The Corporate Development Analyst will play a key role in supporting our client's inorganic growth through M&A and partnerships. This position focuses on identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisitions and partnerships that align with the company's vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Target Identification: Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and regional opportunities to identify potential acquisition targets in fire protection and safety services.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintiain relationships with current and potential clients.
- Financial Analysis & Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess valuation, synergies, and ROI for prospective deals.
- Due Diligence: Support comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and legal reviews of target companies.
- Deal Execution: Assist in transaction management from initial outreach through closing, including preparing investment memos and presentations for senior leadership.
- Integration Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth post-acquisition integration and realization of synergies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, accounting, corporate development.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
