Corporate Banking Relationship Manager - Regional Bank
Client Overview
Our client is a regional corporate bank with a strong presence across Asia. Due to continued business growth, they are looking to expand their Corporate Banking team in Hong Kong and are seeking experienced Relationship Managers to strengthen coverage of local corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with Hong Kong-based corporate clients, with a focus on established mid-market and mid-cap companies.
- Drive new business acquisition and expand wallet share within existing client portfolios.
- Provide holistic corporate banking solutions including lending, cash management, trade finance, treasury and other banking products.
- Conduct client meetings to understand financing requirements and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Work closely with credit, product and risk teams to structure suitable financing solutions.
- Monitor portfolio quality and ensure compliance with internal credit policies.
- Support syndicated loan opportunities and other corporate financing transactions where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of corporate banking relationship management experience; candidates with 15+ years of experience are also strongly encouraged to apply.
- Existing network among Hong Kong corporates, particularly mid-cap and middle-market companies.
- Strong client-facing and business development capabilities with a proven ability to originate new relationships.
- Experience covering Hong Kong-listed companies, blue-chip corporates, established family-owned businesses, and sizeable local enterprises preferred.
- Exposure to corporate lending, trade finance, cash management and treasury solutions.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
