Corporate Accounting Consultant

A global financial services firm is seeking a Corporate Accounting Consultant to support its Financial Reporting team across a complex international legal entity structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support monthly close, financial reporting and accounting processes across multiple legal entities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Assist with the preparation and review of statutory financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Support group reporting, consolidations and financial statement analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audits and reporting deadlines.
- Perform accounting research and analysis relating to significant transactions and entity structures.
- Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- 5+ years experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, financial control or legal entity control.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP; US GAAP exposure beneficial.
- Experience managing multi-entity accounting and statutory reporting.
- Financial services experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
