The team is seeking an AVP-level Quantitative Researcher/Strategist to join their Consumer Modeling group. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop credit and risk models using internal and external data to support underwriting and ABS pricing
- Build forecasting models and stress testing frameworks for consumer loan portfolios
- Design and maintain performance monitoring tools and early warning systems
- Create dashboards and data pipelines to track loan applications, decisions, and performance
- Collaborate with emerging business units to develop credit policies and risk strategies
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science)
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Dash, RShiny)
- Proven experience building credit risk models and working with statistical frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in consumer loans or ABS modeling
- Familiarity with loan-level data and performance analytics
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders
