Commercial Account Manager
Compensation: $80,000 to $95,000 Base Salary
Overview
A well established independent insurance brokerage is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Manager to support a middle market commercial book of business. This individual will work closely with producers, carrier partners, and clients to deliver high quality service and drive account retention.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day servicing of a commercial P&C book of business
- Coordinate renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes
- Market accounts and obtain competitive quotes from carrier partners
- Review policies and coverage documents for accuracy
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and carriers
- Support producers with account strategy, renewals, and retention efforts
- Assist with coverage reviews and risk management recommendations
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of commercial insurance account management experience
- Current experience working for an insurance broker or agency
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Property, General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, and Excess Liability
- Experience handling middle market commercial accounts
- Ability to manage the renewal process from marketing through binding with minimal supervision
- Applied EPIC experience preferred
- Active California P&C license preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills
