About the Role:
They are seeking an experienced and driven Soft Commodities Broker with a focus on Sugar, Cocoa, or Coffee to join their dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of client relationships, a deep understanding of the soft commodities markets, and proven experience trading on the ICE platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established broking firm with a global client base, where you will play a key role in expanding their presence in the soft commodities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute trades in sugar, cocoa, or coffee futures and options on the ICE platform.
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of institutional and commercial clients.
- Provide market intelligence, pricing, and trade ideas to clients.
- Monitor market trends, supply/demand fundamentals, and geopolitical developments affecting soft commodities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless trade execution and client service.
- Attend industry events and maintain a strong presence in the soft commodities community.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in soft commodities trading or broking (sugar, cocoa, or coffee).
- Strong client network and proven ability to generate business.
- In-depth knowledge of the ICE trading platform and relevant contract specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- FCA certification or willingness to obtain it (preferred).
