About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive analyst to join our client's CLO Operations team. This role is critical in supporting trade lifecycle management and delivering high-quality performance and attribution reporting for their Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) portfolios. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of fixed income instruments, trade support workflows, and performance analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Support & Operations
- Monitor and reconcile daily trade activity across CLO portfolios.
- Liaise with traders, portfolio managers, custodians, and counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate trade capture, affirmation, and settlement.
- Maintain and enhance operational controls and procedures to mitigate risk.
Performance & Attribution
- Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for CLO strategies.
- Analyze portfolio returns and provide attribution insights across asset classes and strategies.
- Collaborate with investment teams to interpret performance drivers and support client reporting.
- Assist in the development of performance dashboards and automation initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with technology, compliance, and finance teams to support data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Contribute to system enhancements and process improvements across the CLO platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in trade support, middle office, or performance analytics-preferably within CLOs or structured credit.
- Strong understanding of fixed income instruments, CLO structures, and trade lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with performance systems (e.g., Bloomberg PORT, FactSet, Eagle) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
