Chief Actuary - Leadership Opportunity in Health Insurance
We're looking for a Chief Actuary to join a leading name in the U.S. health insurance space.
The team is looking for a leader that can thrive in an environment that is fast-paced, collaborative, and committed to innovation in healthcare.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the entire actuarial department
- Develop and implement pricing models and rate recommendations
- Monitor trends and oversee financial reporting, reserving, and actuarial exhibits
- Support strategic initiatives and key performance objectives
- Identify cost drivers and work with cross-functional teams to manage costs
- Provide professional actuarial certification
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- FSA and MAAA credentials
- Minimum 8 years of experience (health actuary)
- Prior management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of databases, SAS, and/or SQL preferred
