Business Manager
We are partnering with a leading multi-strategy hedge fund in New York to hire a Business Manager who will contribute to the firm's Operations function. This role reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer and will work closely with stakeholders across the operations organization to coordinate and deliver Operations‑led projects. The Business Manager will collaborate with leaders across Trading, Technology, Risk & Compliance, and Fund Administration to execute key initiatives and enhance workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Own execution of Operations and cross-functional projects, from planning through delivery
- Build and oversee project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Coordinate across Operations, Technology, Trading, Treasury, Compliance, Risk, and the Fund Administrator
- Create clear written updates and status reporting for senior stakeholders
- Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and escalate as needed
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in an execution-focused role (operations, business analyst, consulting, PMO, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated project management or delivery experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with senior stakeholders
