Position Title: Business Development Manager - New England (Remote)
Location Requirement: Must reside in Massachusetts; travel required

The Business Development Manager will drive growth and strengthen broker relationships across the New England region, with a focus on Massachusetts. This remote role requires regular travel and a strong presence in the field to support agency partners, manage performance, and identify new opportunities in the high-net-worth market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve key performance metrics including new business, retention, loss ratios, and broker engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional brokers through in-person, phone, and virtual interactions
- Track engagement and maintain agency scorecards aligned with broker commitments
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual production goals
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Risk Services to evaluate submissions and refine strategy
- Ensure competitive positioning of products and services
- Manage a pipeline of key accounts to exceed growth targets
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Rehabilitate or terminate underperforming broker relationships
- Partner with brokers to develop creative, client-focused solutions
- Support large account development and ensure proper documentation and communication
Qualifications:
- Existing relationships with high-net-worth agents in New England
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, including 2+ years in sales or marketing
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong service orientation and collaborative mindset
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced market
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities
- Analytical and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
