About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive institutional client relationships for our hedge fund with Pan-Asia coverage and global exposure. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in client acquisition and relationship management within the investment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, including asset managers, mutual funds, hedge funds, and other professional investors.
- Drive fundraising initiatives and capital introduction efforts across Pan-Asia and global markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and execute strategic plans to expand the investor base.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client servicing.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Proven sales background from investment banks or buyside BD/IR roles at mutual funds, asset management firms, or hedge funds.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies and institutional investor landscape.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Network:
- Established relationships with institutional investors in Asia and globally is a strong plus.
