BI Medical Economics Analyst
We're looking for a skilled BI Analyst with 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics and data visualization. This role focuses on analyzing claims, utilization, cost, risk adjustment (HCC), and quality metrics (HEDIS, Stars, ACO REACH, MSSP) to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage dashboards using Tableau and other BI tools.
Analyze healthcare trends to support cost, quality, and risk initiatives.
Evaluate HCC risk scores and identify coding or diagnostic gaps.
Track HEDIS/Stars/ACO performance and support improvement strategies.
Collaborate across teams to deliver actionable insights.
Extract and manipulate data using SQL, Python, or R.
Requirements:
Experience with ACO REACH, MSSP, and Medicare Advantage.
Strong knowledge of claims data, risk models, and quality measures.
Expertise in SQL and Tableau.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Comfortable working with large healthcare datasets.
