AVP & Actuary - Retail Annuity Pricing
A leading insurance and financial services organization is seeking an experienced Actuary and Pricing Leader to join its Retail Annuity team. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity focused on driving product innovation, pricing strategy, and business growth across a diverse annuity portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Lead the pricing and product development strategy for retail annuity products.
- Design, model, price, and implement products including Fixed Deferred Annuities, Fixed Indexed Annuities, Income Annuities, and Variable Annuities.
- Partner with senior leaders across Product, Finance, and Investments to evaluate new opportunities and drive strategic decision-making.
- Present pricing recommendations and business insights to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with modeling and modernization teams to enhance pricing capabilities and analytical tools.
- Oversee assumption development, financial impact analyses, model governance, and implementation support.
- Lead and mentor a team of actuarial professionals while fostering career growth and development.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to ensure competitive and compliant product offerings.
Qualifications
- FSA designation preferred.
- Strong experience in annuity pricing, product development, or actuarial modeling.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing actuarial talent.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts to business leaders.
- Deep understanding of retail annuity products and the associated financial risks and opportunities.
