As an Audit Manager, you will oversee multiple engagements, mentor and develop team members, serve as a trusted advisor to clients, and work closely with firm leadership to deliver high-quality assurance services across a diverse client base.
What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through issuance.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for key clients and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Review engagement workpapers and financial statements to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with professional standards.
- Lead engagement teams, establish timelines, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor audit staff and seniors, supporting their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with partners on engagement strategy, risk assessment, and business development initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve client operations, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
- Stay current on auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5-10 years of progressive public accounting audit experience
- Proven experience managing engagements and serving as a key client contact
- Demonstrated success supervising, mentoring, and developing staff
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and auditing best practices
- Experience serving clients in one or more of the following industries:
- Manufacturing & Distribution
- Construction
- Technology
- Real Estate
- Professional Services
- Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and client relationship skills
- Daily access to a vehicle and the ability to travel to client locations and all firm offices as needed
