Associate Director, Software Engineer
Client Overview: This firm is one of Boston's leading Asset Management firms, who implement a very data and technology oriented approach to their business. Because of this, they have been able to increase their Assets Under Management (AUM) over the past few years.
This firm is looking for an Associate Director level software engineer to help multiple business units. This would include their Finance, Funds and more related teams internally. The applications being built and maintained would be for their Marketing and reporting team as well!
Responsibilities:
- Lead the push towards cloud native design and development
- Focus on development best practices
- Hands on engineer with the ability to also design and focus on architecture
- Collaborate with teams you'd work closely with
- Engage with senior stakeholders within the business to understand necessary requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree within Comp Sci or closely related field
- Significant hands on experience with C# and .Net Core
- Server side development leveraging C# (ideally and python) using .Net Core
- Experience working with modern UI frameworks (Angular, React, etc)
- Database design and development experience with SQL Server, Postgres, mongo, or other related databases
- AWS experience with tools like S3, Lambda, RDS, EC2, and EKS
- Experience with Azure/AWS DevOps or Gitlab/Github
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
