Agency Compensation Program Manager
Our client is a mid-sized National Insurance Carrier focused on small to mid-market commercial products. They are seeking an Agency Compensation Consultant to serve as a senior technical resource for agency compensation programs.
Design, implement, and maintain competitive compensation and incentive plans for agency distribution while ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations. Act as a strategic partner to leadership, providing insights, training, and guidance to support execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize agency compensation programs, including tiering strategies.
- Develop and maintain compensation models; forecast financial impact.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of compensation systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and IT to align contracts and system logic.
- Consults with leadership and cross-functional teams to align compensation strategies with company-wide goals, market trends, and performance outcomes
- Provide training and resources for field teams on compensation programs.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in agency/carrier compensation or sales program management.
- Insurance designations (CPCU, AIDA, AAI, AIA, ARC) preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Occasional travel required.
