Vice President of Product Strategy and Investor Relations
Our client is a leading alternative investment manager with a rapidly growing Credit Secondaries platform seeking a Vice President, Product Strategy & Investor Relations. This hire will play a critical role supporting fundraising efforts, investor communications, and product development across a range of secondary credit investment strategies.
Working closely with senior investment professionals and the capital formation team, this individual will serve as a key bridge between investors and the investment team while helping articulate the firm's differentiated approach to the secondary market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fundraising materials, presentations, and product positioning content.
- Partner with investment professionals to communicate portfolio performance and market insights to investors.
- Lead responses to DDQs, RFPs, consultant requests, and ad hoc investor inquiries.
- Support fundraising initiatives across institutional and private wealth channels.
- Prepare quarterly investor reporting and ongoing client communications.
- Conduct competitive intelligence and industry research within the credit and secondaries landscape.
- Participate in investor meetings, annual meetings, and due diligence processes.
- Collaborate with portfolio management, finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure consistency of investor-facing communications.
Qualifications
- 8 -10+ years of experience within investor relations, capital formation, product strategy, product specialist, investment specialist, or related functions.
- Prior experience within private credit, secondaries, private equity, direct lending, structured credit, or alternative investments strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of institutional fundraising and LP due diligence processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience creating investor presentations, DDQs, and fundraising materials.
