Company Summary: An Alternative Investment Firm based in Washington DC is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate to join its dynamic and growing team. The firm partners with exceptional businesses across a variety of sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a lean, highly active investment platform, with significant responsibility, hands-on deal experience, and exposure to the full investment lifecycle.
The Investment Senior Analyst/Associate will be responsible for:
- Execution of broader market and industry research
- Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for various investment targets
- Take point on due diligence processes
- Monitor existing investment portfolio
The Investment Senior Analyst/Associate should have the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Investment Banking experience performing M&A with a reputable middle market or lower middle market bank; related transaction advisory consulting experience will also be considered
- 1-3 years of Private Equity experience at a lower middle market fund
- Bachelor's Degree
- Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (there will be a modeling test)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
- Prior experience or interest in the Financial Institutions space.
