Senior Housing Asset Manager
A growing real estate investment platform is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to join its Texas-based team and oversee a portfolio of senior housing investments across the United States. This is an opportunity to play a key role in driving asset-level performance, executing business plans, and partnering closely with operators, lenders, and investment professionals.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing healthcare, senior housing, multifamily, hospitality, or other operational real estate assets and have a proven track record of enhancing portfolio performance through strategic asset management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead asset management efforts across a portfolio of senior housing communities.
- Monitor operating performance, financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and capital projects.
- Partner with third-party operators to drive occupancy, revenue growth, and NOI performance.
- Evaluate and implement value creation strategies at the asset level.
- Conduct financial and operational analysis to support investment decisions and portfolio strategy.
- Oversee business plan execution from acquisition through disposition.
- Collaborate with acquisitions, capital markets, and executive leadership teams on portfolio initiatives.
- Present investment performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in asset management, investments, operations, or related real estate disciplines.
- Prior experience with senior housing, healthcare real estate, multifamily, hospitality, or other operationally intensive asset classes preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience working directly with third-party operators and property management teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or relevant industry certifications are a plus.
