Head of Investor Relations Private Markets
We have partnered with a regional private markets firm, ~3 billion USD AUM who are seeking a Head of Investor Relations. The role will cover relationships globally and can be based in HK, SG or Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing capital raising strategies for both fund and deal-specific investment opportunities
- Origination, cultivation, and management of relationships with institutional investors, family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and private wealth channels
- Expanding and leveraging a global investor network across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America
- Leading investor outreach, meetings, and fundraising discussions from initial engagement through fund closing
- Preparing and maintaining marketing materials, investor presentations, teasers, and fundraising documentation
- Managing investor communications, updates, and reporting processes
- Coordinating and overseeing fundraising timelines and transaction execution
- Working closely with investment professionals and senior management to articulate investment opportunities and market positioning
- Representing the firm at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings
Requirements
10+ years of investor relations, fundraising, placement, or capital raising experience within private markets.
Demonstrated track record of raising capital from institutional and private wealth investors.
Established investor network across family offices, UHNWIs, and institutional allocators.
Strong relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and take full ownership of fundraising activities.
