RFP Specialist
Job Responsibilities
- Write high volumes of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and client updates for Institutional, Sub-Advisory Wrap, and Wealth Management prospects/clients, focusing on larger and more complex RFPs and consultant questionnaires that require additional research, analysis, creativity, and judgment.
- Manage the review and drafting process from kickoff to completion, working closely with subject matter experts to collect and verify all RFP content, ensuring accuracy and compliance while managing deadlines.
- Support the Institutional, Sub-Advisory Wrap, and Wealth Management distribution teams by responding to ad-hoc requests related to RFP responses.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the firm's structure, investment strategies, key personnel, and organizational policies and procedures, along with a functional knowledge of a professional services environment.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy within the RFP response database.
- Assist affiliate RFP teams as needed.
- Contribute to key projects aimed at increasing team efficiencies.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as business, finance, economics, or marketing.
- At least 3 years of experience in the investment management industry.
- Experience updating consultant databases such as eVestment, Callan, and Informa/PSN.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial products and asset classes.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage competing obligations.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work independently.
- Ability to effectively manage new projects, existing maintenance, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel is desired, and additional quantitative skills are preferred but not required.
