Network Engineer
Job Title: Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network incidents to ensure optimal performance.
- Design, implement, and optimize trading network architecture for high availability and low latency.
- Analyze network traffic using captured pcap files and develop automated reporting systems.
- Build and maintain automated network monitoring solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of networking protocols across Layer 2 (Spanning Tree), Layer 3 (BGP, OSPF), and Layer 4 (TCP/IP).
- Proficient in using network operation and maintenance tools, commands, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud network architectures, mainstream vendor equipment, and advanced networking concepts:
- Experience with trading, data center, and cloud-based networks, including physical network architecture of cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco or Arista network devices.
- Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF (BGP and OSPF proficiency is essential).
- Professional certifications such as CCIE, H3CIE, or HCIE are highly desirable.
- Skilled in one or more scripting/programming languages (Shell, Python). Proficiency in Python and multicast communication is required.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong sense of responsibility, curiosity, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to self-learning.
