Our client, a leading global multi‑manager hedge fund, is partnering with us to hire a high‑calibre Emerging Markets Equity Research Analyst to join a newly launching Portfolio Manager pod. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with a top‑tier pedigree PM who is building a new platform within the fund, running an equity long/short, market‑neutral strategy with a focus on the CEEMEA region.
The PM brings a world‑class institutional background, a rigorous research framework, and a strong track record of developing high‑performing analysts. This role offers exceptional exposure, responsibility, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the build‑out and success of a new pod within a highly resourced, best‑in‑class multi‑manager ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundamental equity research across CEEMEA markets within an equity L/S, market‑neutral framework
- Deep dive company analysis, financial modelling, and thematic research
- Idea generation and active contribution to portfolio construction discussions
- Working seamlessly with the PM and team members located across multiple geographies
- Operating within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment typical of a high‑performing pod structure
Candidate Profile
- Strong preference for candidates with prior equity long/short experience
- However, candidates from M&A generalist backgrounds or private equity looking to pivot into public markets are encouraged to apply
- Exceptional analytical ability, modelling skills, and commercial judgement
- Strong academic pedigree from top‑tier institutions
- Genuine interest in emerging markets, particularly CEEMEA
- Resilient, intellectually curious, and comfortable in a fluid, evolving market environment
