A rapidly growing US bank is looking to hire a VP, Relationship Manager, covering their auto finance portfolio in the North Texas market. This role is pivotal to the continued expansion of the firm, and offers a phenomenal platform for an experienced relationship manager with an existing network in the space to take advantage of their strong network & reputation, as well as varied product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new client relationships with automotive dealerships through outside sales activities.
- Identify and negotiate new commercial loan business, banking products, and services opportunities.
- Follow credit policies and underwriting guidelines to originate dealer commercial loans.
- Monitor and service the portfolio through required dealer monitoring, ongoing risk analysis and review.
- Assess changing market risks and conditions in the assigned area and how they impact the portfolio.
- Manage large credit exposures and complex loans, including syndications.
- Organize work and deal flow, and coach other colleagues as needed.
- Travel as required to meet with clients and prospects.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with multiple automotive dealer groups.
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Underwriting.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Commercial Credit Risk Management
- Knowledge of local automotive dealers and existing relationships.
