Position Summary:
The firm is looking for a Vice President / Director with substantial experience in turnaround and restructuring advisory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing distressed engagements, capital restructurings, and operational turnarounds. This leadership role involves advising on strategic alternatives, managing client relationships, and executing complex financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead restructuring and turnaround engagements, including debt restructurings, distressed M&A, and operational restructuring initiatives
Advise distressed clients on strategic alternatives, including capital structure optimization, refinancing, and business turnaround strategies
Serve as the primary point of contact for distressed clients, creditors, investors, and other key stakeholders
Guide clients through negotiations with creditors and other stakeholders, helping to align interests and achieve favorable outcomes
Manage and mentor junior team members, providing leadership on engagements and ensuring high-quality deliverables
Oversee the creation of pitch materials, financial models, and other client-facing documents
Collaborate with other teams (e.g., M&A, Capital Markets) to offer integrated solutions to clients in distress
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in turnaround, restructuring, or distressed advisory
Significant experience leading complex restructuring projects, including distressed M&A and operational turnarounds
Strong expertise in capital structure analysis, financial modeling, and liquidity management
Proven track record in managing client relationships and leading high-pressure, high-stakes engagements
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring and team development
