Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President to join our clients private equity investment team with a focus on technology and tech-enabled services. This individual will play a leadership role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across the sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep transaction experience, sector insight, and a strong ability to drive value creation in portfolio companies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal Sourcing & Origination:

    • Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with founders, executives, bankers, and intermediaries in the technology and tech-enabled services space.
    • Lead initial screening and evaluation of new investment opportunities.
  • Transaction Execution:

    • Lead due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and market analysis.
    • Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
    • Manage third-party advisors and coordinate internal deal teams.
    • Present investment theses and recommendations to the investment committee.
  • Portfolio Management:

    • Serve as a key point of contact for portfolio company management teams.
    • Drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and growth strategies.
    • Monitor performance metrics and support exit planning and execution.
  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Mentor and manage Associates and Analysts.
    • Contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing and process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, growth equity, or corporate development, with a strong track record in technology or tech-enabled services.
  • Proven ability to lead transactions from sourcing through exit.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
