A mid-sized, globally recognised macro hedge fund managing $11 billion in AUM is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their Quantitative Analytics team in London. The firm combines macroeconomic research with quantitative strategies, trading across FX, credit, interest rates, and commodities.
This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, high-performing team and work directly with the Head of Risk and senior quants on a greenfield build of a new analytics library. You'll lead the transition from a legacy C++ system to a Python-based infrastructure, playing a central role in shaping its design and implementation.

Requirements:
- 5-10 years of professional Python development experience in financial services
