Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to oversee the performance, availability, and security of enterprise IT infrastructure. This role involves managing cloud and on-premise systems, implementing upgrades and patches, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to system reliability and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain cloud environments including Azure, Office 365, and AWS
- Install, maintain, and upgrade Windows Server 2016/2022
- Proactively identify and resolve issues in Windows Server environments
- Deploy and manage Windows servers in cloud platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory, email systems, and Office 365
- Administer Microsoft enterprise products including Exchange, Active Directory, and other E5 offerings
- Develop and document change control processes for Windows, Azure, and AWS solutions
- Serve as a technical authority and mentor for junior team members
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Required)
Experience:
- 5+ years in a Systems Administration role
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Azure, Exchange, Office 365 apps, and AWS
- Experience with networking infrastructure, operating systems, application software, project management, and regulatory compliance
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High level of confidentiality and analytical reasoning
- Excellent communication skills and ability to write technical documentation
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- Azure and AWS certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
