Senior Algorithm Expert
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Algorithm Expert to join our video generation team. This role involves leading and delivering end-to-end video generation projects that leverage cutting-edge techniques in generative modelling, deep learning, and multimodal learning.
You will work on advanced technologies such as diffusion models, video-to-video generation, and text-to-video generation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring research into production. You will also play a key role in exploring innovative algorithms and pushing the boundaries of generative AI.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and participate in end-to-end video generation projects, including data pipeline design, algorithm development, model training, and system optimization.
2. Conduct research and development of state-of-the-art models in video generation (e.g., diffusion models, transformer-based architectures, temporal consistency techniques).
3. Design and implement novel model architectures for high-fidelity and controllable video generation from text or other modalities.
4. Collaborate closely with research scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to align on goals and deliver high-impact outcomes.
5. Continuously track and evaluate the latest academic progress in video generation and apply valuable insights to real-world use cases.
6. Contribute to building and maintaining robust training and inference infrastructure using PyTorch and large-scale distributed training techniques.
7. Drive innovation and uphold high-quality standards in modelling, code quality, and technical execution.
Basic Qualifications
1. Extensive experience in video generation or related fields, such as generative modeling, computer vision, or multimodal learning.
2. Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, especially PyTorch.
3. Solid background in machine learning, with demonstrated experience in model design, training, and optimization.
4. Familiarity with state-of-the-art techniques such as diffusion models, GANs, autoencoders, or large multimodal foundation models.
5. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail and strong ownership.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced teams.
7. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Master's or Ph.D. strongly preferred.
