Quantitative Trader (Prop PM)
A leading prop trading firm with extensive capital and backing is seeking an Independent Quantitative Trader to join its highly successful trading team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced traders, quants, and engineers in a fast-paced environment or the opportunity to sit independently and run your own book of strategies. There is a preference for short term strategies across equities, commodities, crypto, or futures, but strategies of all asset classes will be considered. The role will sit remotely with the option to sit in office at one of their various office locations across the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, and implement Quantitative Prop-Style Trading Strategies
- Optimize execution and risk management for trading strategies
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to enhance trading performance
- Take ownership of PnL generation of independent book
Qualifications:
- 1-2 year track record generating PnL while running your own book
- Strong proficiency in Python or C++ and experience working in systematic environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
