The Role
As a Quantitative Researcher, you will play a key role in designing, testing, and optimizing trading strategies. You'll work closely with developers and traders to turn research ideas into production-ready systems. This is a hands-on role that blends data science, software engineering, and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop algorithmic trading strategies across various asset classes
- Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and optimize models
- Continuously improve performance through backtesting, simulation, and live experimentation
- Monitor and refine strategies in real-time trading environments
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in a quantitative research, data science, or algorithmic trading role
- Education: Degree in a STEM field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering)
- Programming: Proficiency in Python or C++ (or similar), with experience writing production-level code
- Mobility: Willingness to relocate to Dubai
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with financial market data or trading systems
- Familiarity with high-frequency or low-latency trading environments
- Participation in quantitative competitions or research publications
- Strong academic performance
