Principal Auditor - Financial Risk Management
Join a Global Bank in establishing their initial audit presence. Assist in making actionable recommendation to the audit program while gaining experience in high-demand and niche specializations within a established institution.
This company is seeking Audit professionals with experience in Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Non-Trade Market Risk, Capital Management or other similar areas. In this role you will oversee the planning, execution and oversight of the audit plan, ensuring quality and effectiveness of audit processes across designated areas. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, maintain knowledge of financial services regulations, and interact with regulators to uphold the highest standards of compliance and governance. This role will specifically focus on one of the areas listed above and thus is perfect for anyone with a deep understanding of any one of those areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an (AIC) Auditor in Charge
- Responsible for planning, execution and oversight of audits
- Serve as a mentor to junior team members
- Make recommendations to the audit program, helping to establish procedures, processes and culture for the audit shop.
- Update and improve existing audit procedures and programs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- 4 Year degree or equivalent, and relevant, experience
- Strong soft skills (written and oral communication, ability to delegate etc.)
- Relevant certifications preferred (CPA, CIA etc)
