Operations Manager | Digital Assets & Brokerage
Our client, a major player in the digital assets space, is hiring its first Operations Manager for the securities business in Hong Kong. This is a hands-on leadership role with the mandate to build and scale an operations team over time. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in securities operations and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What does the role involve?
- Oversee day-to-day operations for securities products, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all processes.
- Manage and execute core operational functions including Corporate Actions, Financing, Equity Lending, and Settlement.
- Develop and implement operational workflows, controls, and best practices for a growing securities business.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Trading, Risk, Compliance, Technology) to ensure seamless trade lifecycle management.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing operations team as the business expands.
What experience do you need?
- 8+ years of experience in securities operations within brokerage, trade finance, or similar environments.
- Proven expertise in Corporate Actions, Financing, Equity Lending, and Settlement.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, operational risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and establish operational frameworks from the ground up.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in digital assets or fintech is a plus but not mandatory.
