Overview

A leading global boutique investment bank is seeking a Managing Director to join its Munich office. The firm specialises in M&A, private placements, and strategic advisory services across the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors. With a strong international presence and a reputation for deep sector expertise, the firm offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment for senior professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with C-level executives, private equity firms, and strategic buyers.
  • Drive business development initiatives and contribute to the firm's strategic growth.
  • Provide high-level strategic advice on valuation, structuring, and market positioning.
  • Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, and negotiation processes.
  • Mentor and lead junior bankers across deal teams.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on TMT sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in originating and closing complex M&A and financing transactions.
  • Extensive network of industry contacts and proven business development capabilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; German language skills strongly preferred.
