Investments Associate
Position Overview:
We are partnered with Real Estate Investments firm in Boca Raton, FL who is looking to add on to their investments team. This individual will have responsibility across the acquisition, asset management and development functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in retail and office sectors.Underwriting & Financial Modeling:
Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, including cash flow projections, IRR, and sensitivity analyses.Due Diligence:
Coordinate and manage due diligence processes including property inspections, lease reviews, third-party reports, and legal documentation.Transaction Support:
Assist in structuring and negotiating purchase agreements, joint ventures, and financing packages.Portfolio Management:
Support asset management teams in monitoring performance of existing investments and identifying opportunities for value creation.Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, and other industry stakeholders to source off-market opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field; MBA or Master's in Real Estate preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, or investment banking, with a focus on retail and/or office assets.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Argus, and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
