Head of Operations & Integration
Our client, a market-leading insurtech firm, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Operations & Integrations. This high-impact leadership role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to drive operational excellence and oversee the seamless integration of systems, processes, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the company's growth trajectory and operational strategy during a pivotal phase of expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
- Lead integration of core insurance systems (e.g., policy, billing, claims) to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with actuarial, product, and compliance teams to align operations with regulatory and business requirements.
- Optimize workflows across underwriting, customer service, and claims processing.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations, including insurtech platforms and data providers.
- Oversee operational risk management and ensure adherence to P&C insurance regulations.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives across operational functions.
- Monitor performance metrics and deliver insights to executive leadership.
- Lead cross-functional teams through system migrations and process changes.
- Support strategic planning and execution in partnership with the COO and senior leadership.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations leadership within the P&C insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance systems, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated success in leading system integrations and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Familiarity with core insurance platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management across all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
