A leading global investment bank is expanding its Financial Restructuring team in Frankfurt. The firm is consistently ranked among the top advisors in M&A and restructuring transactions worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team focused on complex financial advisory mandates across distressed M&A, creditor and debtor-side restructurings, and capital solutions.

Role Summary:
The Financial Analyst will support senior team members on a range of restructuring and special situations transactions. The role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of industries and financial products, with responsibilities including:

  • Advising companies and stakeholders in out-of-court restructuring transactions
  • Supporting distressed M&A processes
  • Assisting in debt and equity capital raising in stressed/distressed contexts
  • Participating in negotiations with various stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis and modelling (including LBO and DCF)
  • Preparation of marketing materials and client presentations
  • Business due diligence and valuation support
  • Coordination of deal execution and stakeholder engagement
  • Contribution to pitch development and origination efforts

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong academic background in finance, economics, or accounting
  • Prior internship experience in investment banking, private equity, or credit funds
  • Solid understanding of valuation methodologies and financial modelling
  • Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
