They are currently seeking a skilled Market Data Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the enhancement of their data platform and systems engineering capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data platforms using Python, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and performance.
- Modernize and integrate legacy systems, including microservices and ETL pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and maintainability.
- Champion DevOps best practices across the development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Enhance infrastructure observability and resilience, implementing robust disaster recovery strategies and monitoring solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, and related tools.
- Manage and optimize diverse data stores, including relational (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB), and columnar (ClickHouse) databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Support platform operations, proactively identifying and resolving issues across development, staging, and production environments.
Key Skills
- DevOps & Infrastructure Engineering: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Monitoring & Observability: Proficiency with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, and alerting systems to ensure platform health and performance.
- System Design & Integration: Proven ability to architect and integrate distributed, data-intensive systems with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance.
- Programming Expertise: Strong skills in Python, with a focus on building robust, maintainable software.
- Database Management: Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, S3-based storage, and Linux-based systems.
- Adaptability & Collaboration: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
